As part of our opener I asked ztn "What makes Q1DM4 a classic map?". Ive posted his answer here. He was also kind enough to list the essential ingredients for a great 1-0-1 map.
We plan periodic updates to this section of Challenge.World Maps by adding player, mapper and industry professional comments on DM4 and other classic Quake maps. The idea is to collect these various perspectives as a resource for mappers, players and gamers alike.
